MedLabs Research of Houston, Inc. is unique in that it has ready access to one of the largest populations of acute and chronically ill psychiatric patients in Houston, Texas - a city of over 3 million persons. Through an exclusive arrangement with
DAPA ®  Psychiatric & Substance Abuse Programs we are able to enlist an extensive and willing population of mental health and chemically dependent persons for clinical research trials.

With an in-house regulatory and quality assurance department, MedLabs Research is able to maintain a rapid study implementation and one of the lowest query ratios in the industry. Our research team has special interest in Phases I- IV, Outcome and Validation clinical trials. We provide a sizable, dedicated patient recruitment.

Our staff is highly experienced in clinical CNS research trials. We are confident that our experienced staff will be successful in conducting and recruiting patients for your trials.

Our coordinators have been well-trained and comprise a team with combined achievements including but not limited to: doctoral candidate, licensed psychotherapist; mental health clinicians; years of experience conducting psychiatric clinical trials; lead coordinators on numerous clinical trials, involving Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorders, Adult, Child and Adolescent Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, mixed attentional and affective disorders, Social Anxiety Disorder, , Major Depressive Disorder and Treatment-Resistant Depression, Dual Disorders; Alcoholism and Substance Abuse and Dependencies. They participate as certified raters for a wide range of scales for numerous diagnoses. The coordinators are also trained in these areas: phlebotomy, EKG, vital statistics, centrifuge, packaging dangerous goods, keeping CRF's and all regulatory documents, and all requirement of protocols by our Sponsors and CRO's.

  • Individual Phone access per office for IVRS; High Speed Internet connections

  • CRCs with National Certification in Phlebotomy.

  • CLIA Certification (shipping dangerous and infectious materials) training for
    all coordinators.

  • On-site regulatory staff to aide in the quick implementation of all clinical studies.
